Navigating societal change is one of the biggest challenges that creatives are taking on at the moment. More than ever, these innovation processes take place in a system of stakeholders, aligning all involved needs and desires. This is more than just facilitating a work session, and requires additional skills. This is how you can master Navigating Through Complexity.
For those who are facilitating complex projects, such as living labs or multi-stakeholder innovation projects, this is the toolkit to further develop your skills! Get started to assess the skills you or your team already owns - or book our trainings directly to boost your impact!
Our team is deeply invested in this field of work. With years of experience in both research and the workfield, we can guide you or your team to the next level of navigating through complexity. We offer evaluation sessions, where the focus is on discovering your (team's) strength and growth opportunities, or training packages where you can further elaborate on the different phases within the toolkit.

Navigating Through Complexity - explore your skills helps you to identify strengths and possible growth opportunities regarding your skills and understanding of facilitating transition challenges.
The kit includes a card deck: 38 numbered cards that highlight the most valuable skills for navigators, organized into four stages.
Use the kit for self, peer, or team evaluations. Simply rank the level of the skill described on the card from 1 to 5 (1 = novice, 5 = expert) and note this on the canvas at the corresponding number. This process highlights strengths and areas for improvement and collaboration in navigating complex transition challenges.
As self-evaluation, you can fill this in yourself. For peer-assessment ask stakeholders that have seen you work closely. For team-assessment it's relevant to look for complementary skills in the team; it's okay if the individual doesn't strongly cover all stages, but is it sufficiently covered in the team?
